展覽主旨：
“我們這次想要講述，是這些年，年輕的華人藝術創作者們在日本的故事。
自我探尋的道路，對於這些年代在日本的我們，是始終未曾停歇的事。身份的重識，存在的感知，孤獨的共鳴，獨立的渴望，環境的融合，故土的聯系……與“我”相關的思考成為華人藝術創作者有意或無意的事情，而這些思考，誕生在每一個華人創造者不同的生活體驗裡，與每一個“我”相連，與每一個“我”的作品相連，也因此，在日本，我們對於自我和華人創作群體的思考越顯強烈，相似的集體共鳴，卻又不同的體會感悟。此次的CA華人展想要講述的是，這些年裡，年輕創作者的真實生存狀況和自我努力地探尋之路。
我，即我們，歡迎來讀我與我們的故事。”
We would like to tell the young artists' stories of life in Japan. For those of us living in Japan, we are always in the process of finding who we are. Identity, isolation, loneliness, finding independence, environment, home sickness. For us, thinking about our sense of self has become something we do, all the time, unintentionally.
These thoughts are unique, provoking and intrinsically connected to our work. This exhibition presents the stories of our artists. From our selves, we invite you to hear our stories.

OUR STORY IN JAPAN
GRAVITY series
2016 . August - December
The idea for “GRAVITY” occurred to me after the Eggoism exhibition. Love has many different forms: lost love, puppy love, unconditional or unrequited. I think of love as a kind of sweet responsibility. What I wanted to portray in the “GRAVITY” series is the pressure of being in love. My aim is to make the audience feel this pressure. The subject of series work 2 is a rock, this comes from a nightmare I had as a child. In the nightmare I saw the rock and was told I had to swallow it. I would wake wet with tears and sweat from the pressure. In choosing this project I also challenged myself to create my most detailed work on the largest canvas I have yet attempted, within a limited time.
